Jay-Z has announced that he will perform on New Year’s Eve at his new 40/40 club in Las Vegas. The new 40/40 club is Jigga’s third sports bar.
The weekend will start with a performance at the Pearl at the Palms Casino on Saturday, December 29. Tickets will cost $128, $178 and $228, and will go on sale Saturday (Dec. 15) through Ticketmaster.
Former Destiny Child member, LeToya, made a name for herself last year when she debut with her self entitled album “Letoya” which included the hit single “Torn”. Now she is back on the scene with a new single featuring UGK, Killa Kyleon, and Slim Thug. Check it out and let us know what you think.

Apple has released the list of iTunes’ top 10 most-downloaded albums and songs of 2007 and Fergie, Maroon 5, Amy Winehouse, and Kanye West have came out on top.
Maroon 5′s It Won’t Be Soon Before Long was the year’s most-downloaded album, followed by Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black and Kanye West’s Graduation. Fergie’s “Big Girls Don’t Cry.” was the most-downloaded song.

Erykah Badu fans have been wondering where has she been hiding since her last album, Worldwide Underground, which was released in 2003. Erykah recently told Vibe Magazine that she was taking time out to be a good momma. But now she is back, with a new single, entitled “Honey” (MMIM posted the new single last month)

Get ready for The Declaration, the 4th studio album from the Princess of Hip Hop & R and B, Ms. Ashanti. “With this album, I’m taking the lead with everything. I’m steering my own ship. I’m doing everything on my own”, Ashanti told Billboard Magazine. The album is due out February 2008.
In the meantime, Ashanti has been focused on her acting career. Ashanti recently appeared in “Resident Evil: Extinction” as Nurse Betty. There are also talks about working with Quentin Tarantino to remake the 70′s show “Get Christie Love” as a film, as well as talks that Ashanti is among the tops picks to star as Eartha Kitt in a biopic. Ashanti will also be starring in “You’re Nobody till Somebody Kills You”, an upcoming movie being directed by Michael Pinckney.
Ashanti has recently performed at the Nokia Theatre along with Sean Kingston.
The Southern Hummingbird, Tweet, is preparing to release her third album, Love, Tweet. Tweet told VH1 of a tentative single/confirmed track on the album “My Dear” featuring T.I. is not exactly what her fans would expect from her but this album is for the fans, hence the signed diary title.
