That’s 1 sexy motha sucka right there! I’m loving the video! The concept was great because the albums she was diggin’ through were actual album covers of retro artist. She put her own lil’ twist to it with the special effect of her movement through the vinyl. I actually have that Ohio Players album (Honey). I dig in the crates myself. Not to make beats or produce, but for listening to great music. Like Tweet said, “Gotta put the needle back on the record”. But anyway, 9th wonder showed versatility on the production. I wouldn’t have guessed it to be him. One good song of many, I’m sure. She has always been the dictator of her work; taking the road less traveled. You can see her influence and power in the music world.

I agree with JB…there is only one Erykah Badu..sexy, slim, and so talented..she’s got that 70′s vibe heavy..my pops and my grandparents had great album collections..Issac Hayes, Sam Cooke, Ohio Players, etc…my favorite singer Minnie Riperton is represented here with the album cover with the afro and overalls with the Ice Cream cone..mayne, I miss Album covers…liner notes, lyric sheets, special dedications, photos, etc…opening it up…putting them on your wall…I loved the Paid In Full cover so much…I bought the poster, put it on my wall along with the De La Soul 3 feet high and Rising cover…my bedroom became a private lounge and studio…The Batcave…on the weekends, I stayed up all night and slept all day or at least until 12…Erykah really made a fun video…this is 9th Wonder..i can’t wait to hear what Dre and Hi-Tek bring to her album..I loved Mama’s Gun..that faux Shakerettes video was cute…Erykah had them black pants looking good..very few videos make me laugh or smile…yea, support local record stores if you can find one.

I agree with both of the preceding commenters….E. Badu is the truth when it comes to taking music to a whole ‘nother level. I can definitely see her working with the likes of Parliment. I also like the concept of the video. She is one of several artists who helped shape and mold my colours of music and how I can love to listen to a wide variety with no problem…This new album will continue to show how she has versitility and staying power….
