Bill Cosby who can sometimes be a harsh critic of rap music, is set to release a rap album called State of Emergency. The 70 year old actor and comedian will address issues of teen pregnancy, proper parenting, drug abuse, Black-on-Black crime and the dropout rate in America’s high schools.
As you may have guessed it, Bill Cosby’s album will not contain any profanity or any degrating comments towards women.
Reports are not clear whether or not Bill Cosby’s will work with any Hip Hop producers or rappers to help create the album.
This sounds like something that the Hip Hop community may need. I guess Bill feel’s that if he puts his message in a music form versus a book, people might listen. What do you think?

I used to have so much respect for him but what about him slipping that broad a mickey when Camille was’nt around…the illegitimate kid…the fact that he donated money to Spelman , the same school his C average student daughter attended…I read a book by Eric Micheal Dyson..called “Is Cosby Right?”..it dissected his whole career…he played it safe his whole career and now he’s a cliche…ask a comedian..who they admire they will say Redd Foxx, Richard Pryor, Lenny Bruce, John Belushi, or even Eddie Murphy…all risk takers and dirty comedians…when Cab Calloway was talking about Minnie the Moocher…it was real talk..a hard drinking heroin addicted club hopping broad…that was over 60 years ago….art still imitates life…we live in a ugly world while he was in his Huxtable bliss…Crack was ravaging innercities..the murders started up and this new subculture was a way to express fustration and disillusion…leave the righteous rapping to Chuck D and KRS-One.
