MMIM would like to share with you the new releases that we are excited about this week. If you all have any of these albums or maybe you have all of them. We would love to hear your feedback or your favorite track from the album and even if the album is a complete bust. Please do tell and enjoy.
You all may remember Robyn from a while back. In 1997, this Swedish artist came out with a single entitled “Show Me Love.” Don’t front this song was hot!! She is back on the scene eleven years later and has turned in her bubbly beats for rock star chic.

The Madonna is aiight but the producers gave her a jolt…I’m hearing all these critics praise Madonna but to me, she is taking a cue from Mariah and Justin Timberlake…getting with mostly Black producers known for making Hip Hop classics..then transcending to R&B and Pop…Pharell and Chad Hugo aka Neptunes or NERD…have been doing big things since rolling with Teddy Riley as teens in VA Beach…he gave that broad some fire..they made her relevant again..Timberland, too.
Estelle’s track is fire..Kanye..the Black Jack Sparrow produced this..was he wearing a ruffled shirt..hot track, thought…London always got the hot shhh…I read about her in Fader like last year.
That Santagold is the next shhh…most of yall scared of that..I got up on MIA when she came out and bought her producer..Diplo’s album..that crazy electro Funk…great IPOD music..gotta get it.
I already got three songs off that Roots album..yeah, I’m a pirate…avast me hardies…this is probably the best Hip Hop album released until Nas comes out..there will be no competition lyrically..sonically, it’s on the next level..Qwest Love also produced AL Green’s new album..heard some of it…he made the old man sound like a hungry young artist just coming out..if you love good music..cop that.
Robyn “Show Me Love”..Lisa Stainsfield and many other London chicks did it better..she is doing some Cat Power type stuff now…whatever….I’m waiting for my favorite Emcee Nas to come out..I heard a leak of a single..”Be A N#%$a, too”..conterversial and provocative but true…he is spitting hot lead and the production is tight….I heard that Solange “I Decided” single..production is hot..some Motown-ish Dancing in the Streets sounding beat..she sings a little but she ain’t got vocal pwoer like Bey..still needs a vocal coach…

The only one I have listened to off this list is Lyfe. It’s okay so far, I’m not sure if it is matching up with the previous albums but a album worth buying.

Okay I am loving Estelle..It’s like she is a 2008 Lauryn Hill..not on her level of course but still close enough. Madonna’s album is okay but there are a lot of tracks on there that make me want to break dance LOL.
