This is supposedly the last version of this single. The video is very much different than the first two and it has a spooky twist to it. Well, I thought Dwele would be in the last video…I wonder if he even called him.

I don’t know which is worse…the album title “Nigger” or this album cover. I’m speechless on this one here. Maybe you guys might have something to say.

We just knew that the first video wasn’t complete. It just didn’t seem like something Kanye would do for one of his most popular songs on the album. Supposedly this video is Part 2 of 3 that was filmed for the single – still with no Dwele.

According to a HOT 97 interview, Nerd will release their first feature film this December. The film will be based around the life of these producers ranging from recording to touring. The film will be directed by Hype Williams, so it should have great cinematography.
Be sure to cop this threesome’s album “Seeing Sounds”on June 10th.

Rihanna is slated to star in the film “Mama Black Widow.” Her co-stars will include Mos Def, Macy Gray, Anthony Anderson, and Kerry Washington. The film is based on a young man that is trying to keep his family on solid ground in Chicago despite racism, drug abuse, and violence.
MMIM is anxious to see the outcome of these two projects by these artists.

Last week I had the pleasure of seeing the beautiful Janelle Monae perform live. I was truly blown away. She did not need any back up dancers, but yet she took control of the stage on her own moving around like someone that had the Holy Ghost, but it was for MUSIC!! Monae was not afraid to interact with the crowd throwing her white tuxedo jacket out in the crowd while saying “Ya’ll better shut up!”
It is evident that this ATL artist has been influenced by her Outkast counterparts. She moves like Andre 3000 from the “Hey Ya” video and she is not afraid to break the mold, while her music still screams a message.
For example in Sincerely Jane where she says, “Left the city, my momma she said don’t come back home. These kids round’ killin each other, they lost they minds, they gone. They quittin’ school, making babies and can barely read
Some gone off to their fall, lord have mercy on them.”
Ms. Monae is like a diamond in the rough and I am extremely anxious to see what else this Cyber Girl delivers. Be sure to check her out when she comes to your city. I GUARANTEE – you will not be disappointed. Anytime you can wow Diddy it must truly mean something.
It is also important to note the concept of her album release, which will be released in a quarterly fashion. The Wonderland Arts Society has decided to do this so that Ms. Monae can stay in tune with her fans and remain top of mind in order to break through all of the clutter within the world of music. In other words Ms. Monae can cater to her fans in the best way that she can – not that she is having a problem doing this at the present time.

According to EW.com, Nas who’s upcoming album was originally titled “Nigger” is being changed to “Nas.” At first Nas and his camp seemed all set to deal with the retaliation that the Media would give him about the controversial title. Apparently it must have gotten to him meaning that stores were probably not going to carry the cd. Can you say cutting into the pockets? The album will be out in stores on July 1st.
Check out Nas’s explanation of his chosen album title below from the 2008 Grammy’s:
