Yesterday, VH1 announced two performers for this year’s “Hip Hop Honors”. MC Lyte and Lil’ Wayne have signed on to perform and pay homage to Hip Hop Legends. Honorees include, Cypress HIll, De La Soul, Naughty by Nature, Slick Rick and Too Short. I can see Lil’ Wayne performing a Slick Rick or Too Short record.
Additional peformers will be announced as we get closer to the taping on October 2nd. Tracy Morgan will host the show again this year and it is schedueled to air October 6th on VH1.
