I know that some of you have been wondering where all of the R&B acts from the nineties have been. Well the Washington metropolitan native that first hit the scene with his sensual single Pony is currently working on an album that is slated to be released in 2009. Billboard.com has reported that the album will be released on Notifi Records and is being produced by fellow talented singer Tank.
If this album is anything like Ginuwine’s past projects that included hits like In Those Jeans, Anxious and Differences I am sure it will be a classic. Let’s hope he can deliver this time around and make his mark. The music game could use some smooth R&B so I am looking forward to the relesase of this project.

I’m glad to see him still working! Music is in his veins! I’ve heard stories all through my high school years from teachers, students and peers, about his work ethic for basic talent shows to MJ renditions….They say he was kind of the odd ball out….but a lot of times a person is just on a whole other level from the things that attract and interest the pop-culture! I even met the dude my senior year…back when he rocked 3cornrows and a side dish of baby hair! I know he still has a lot of voice left in him! Tank is one helluva songwriter and he has a distinct voice that I notice doing lots of background vocals for premier talents. I think he has put together 2 solid albums….but they contained good halves on each album….all the songs he sing don’t bring out the best in the powerful voice he contains! In my opinion, Tank has 1 of, if not the best voice in male R&B 2day!
