Reminds me of 91 and 92…I used to go over to my boy Lee’s house…he had a bunch of big keybords, control boards, and amps…makeshift studio equipment…we would write songs, he had other people there..artists hanging out…this just shows that he spends his time, grinding just like you do on your job…I admire any artist making music but when you write and produce also…that is just incredible…I’ve written songs for others…so it is’nt easy…then working with somebody on the beat…digging in the crates, trying to make a sample sound unique or playing instruments….usually cheating with keyboards that can play saxophone, drums, strings, xylophone, and etc…even handclaps…trying to get that bassline just right….Dream knows how to make hits…Usher, Mary J blige, Rihanna, Mariah Carey, and alot of other artists look to him for material….he’s building a good reputation for himself…so is Ne-yo…triple threat..singer/songwriter/producer..that is Prince,Stevie Wonder, and Babyface territory…R Kelly used to hold the triple threat crown…but now it’s up for grabs…Dream is worthy of the title…all he needs is like ten more top ten hits and a third album to go platinum.
