Rapsody, known also by the stage name Rapdiddy, is the new female force in hip hop, and she’s about to blaze the trail for the new generation of women who rely on their skills to make marks in the music world. She is Grammy Award winning producer 9th Wonder’s first artist on his label, Its A Wonderful World Music Group, and she sets
the bar high for all following labelmates, male or female.
Currently, she is working on a her first solo album, The Return of the B-girl. Rapsody has made appearances on 9th Wonder’s The Wonder Years, The Kooley High EP Summer Sessions, and more recently on Nike
documentary celebrating 30 years of basketball, Nike Laced. “I want to make good music and be a role model to little girls, especially little black girls,” she confirms.
