Usher spoke with The Early Show about Michael Jackson and he how played a major role in his career.

Michael Jackson has been putting out music since he was five years old with the Jackson Five. However the icon branched out on his own with his solo career in 1972. Check out the list of Jackson’s solo albums below and let us know which album you feel has impacted you the most. It may be difficult to pick just one as this man has created so many classics. If forced to pick I would have to say that my fave album from the King of Pop would have to be Thriller and all though this album came out before I was born each song is timeless! From tracks like Beat It, Pretty Young Thang, Billie Jean, and Lady in My Life to name a few he has created timeless jewels that are still relevant today. It also does not come as a suprise that the Thriller was and still is the best selling album of all time.

Today we lost one of the greatest of our time. Not only was Michael Jackson a musical icon but he was the greatest to EVER do it. His music was heavily influenced all across the world and across many genres. Not one entertainer today can name their influences without mentioning Michael Jackson. He exemplified greatness. Artists today sample his music, recreate his moves and styles, but they could never do it quite like Mike. Ever since Michael was young, he won the hearts of many fans around the world. Not only did people love his music, but they fell in love with Michael. He was more than just an artist. He is a legend, that will never be forgotten. His music is timeless. A artist like Michael will never come again, his voice enriched the sound of music and his videos made us appreciate the art he formed. I always thought Kelly was the best singer from Destiny’s Child. Yes I said it! Check out her acoustic performance of When Love Takes Over that she did for Biz Live Sessions. She sounds great!
Check out this new track entitled Dirty Beauty from Sa-Ra featuring Erykah Badu. This track can be found on their latest LP, Nuclear Evolution: The Age of Love. I am not even going to lie, I think this song is awful. However, if you are into the afro-punk movement, you may appreciate this. Let MMIM know your thoughts.
