Check out this new track from Cee-Lo titled “Bright Lights, Bigger City.” The Lady Killer drops on November 9th.
Cute video but I’m still not feeling the song. This is the video for Nicki Minaj and Will.i.am’s collabo’s “Check it Out”.
Kanye West is never afraid to push the envelope and he has done just that once again with his short film for Runaway. Regardless, if you like the video or not one can’t help but realize that this video is artistic, visually pleasing, and it embodies symbolism of current issues within our society today. I also thought it was pure genius how he used songs from his upcoming album all throughout the short film to entice people even more to purchase his next project.
Willow Smith new video for “Whip My Hair” has been blowing up all over the internet this week. MMIM has an exclusive photo of Willow Smith working with director Ray Kay on set of the visual.
Quote from Ray Kay:
“I’m so excited to see all the buzz about this video on the web. Willow really deserves this, she’s a superstar already. The video will surely be considered a classic a few years from now. I think we managed to create a fresh expression using Willow’s amazing energy, a positive and inspiring concept, and mixing the colors of the sets with Willow’s fashion, which
consisted of custom-made clothing and exclusive One Z jumpsuits from California Christiania Republic. She’s a trendsetter already and I’m sure others will be copying her style soon!”
Love this black and white visual from Chaz Shepherd. This is his video for his single, “It calls Me” where he talks about his passion for music. Check it out and let us know what you think.
Dope new video, which was directed by Colin Tilley for Chris Brown’s latest song Yeah 3x. This track will appear on his upcoming project F.A.M.E (Forgiving All My Enemies). It appears that a lot of artists are going for the club/dance theme within their new projects.
In this brief interview, Kanye West chats with MTV on how there are a lot of simiarities between his upcoming short film Runaway and his video Flashing Lights. Within the interview Mr. West states:
“I think there’s a lot of similarity in this and Flashing Lights. Flashing Lights is my favorite piece of work that I’ve done. The pacing, people are always like, ‘Where is the rest of it?’ But we didn’t have the time or whatever or the money to do the rest of it. But I might do the rest of it, the beginning and the end. Two years from now, I might give you the whole ‘Flashing Lights’ video, put ‘I Wonder’ in it, ‘Say You Will’ and songs that I feel like doing.”
For those of you that are as anxious to see his upcoming short film for Runaway as I am, it will be premiering on Saturday at 8p.m. on MTV, MTV2 and BET, and will also stream live on MTV.com, BET.com and VH1.com. Following the premiere Kanye will do a live Q&A session on MTV and MTV.com. This man really knows how to create buzz!
