The “Master of the Mix” DC Event Series made its fourth stop at Tabaq Bistro on historic U St. in Washington, DC on Wed, Nov 24th, 2010. The guest DJs were DJ Heat and DJ Trini, with resident DJ Stylus who rocked the party like no other! It was the day before Thanksgiving and quaint red room on the first floor was quickly filling up. The flashing lights were going off, and the Smirnoff cocktails were definitely making their way around the room. Episode 4 of “Master of the Mix” left you with your mouth open as DJ Mars ended up sitting down on the floor during his critique from the judges, as he did not agree with some of their comments. As a result, he was the DJ to leave the show and DJ Rap has another day to compete, along side Rich Medina, DJ Jazzy Joyce, DJ Scratch and Vikter Duplaix.

Love this song from the first time I heard it and now there is a visual to go along with Diddy and Dirty Money’s track “Coming Home.” You will be able to find this on their project, “Last Train to Paris” hopefully to be released on December 14th.
This video is from Mr. Husdon debut album, “Straight No Chaser”. The album didn’t receive much accolades but it was pretty good. Check out the video for “Anyone But Him.”
Jay-Z’s first book, Decoded has been highly successful since its release even gaining a spot on the New York Times Bestseller list. The book is currently holding down the #3 spot, right behind former President George Bush memoir, Decision POints and and Laura Hillenbrand’s Unbroken.
Congrats to Hov as this is a major accomplishment even Oprah included it in her “favorite things” episode.

Here is another reason why I am not a big Keri fan. This new video for “The Way You Love Me” is just too raunchy and tasteless. When I first heard the song, I didn’t like it and this video did not help at all. She even recruited JoJo, Faith Evans and Dawn from Dirty Money who all make a cameo in the visual.
For those of you who flipped back and forth between the Soul Train Music Awards or just simply missed it, here is Nicki Minaj documentary, My Time Now. I must say, after watching this, I have a new respect for Nicki and her grind. Check it out and let us know what you think.
