Dear readers, fans, friends, family,record labels, and most of all fellow music lovers:
We are writing to inform you that we will no longer be making updates to My Mood is Music as we both pursue other ventures. This moment is bittersweet for the both of us because we started MMIM literally from a convo we had on MySpace where we would give compliments on the songs that we would play on our profile pages (corny right? lol) From there we turned our passion and obsession for music and created our baby My Mood is Music never realizing how much we would accomplish.
From music festivals, concerts, networking events, community service activities, parties and much more MMIM has done it all. And we cannot forget the people we have had the opportunity to chat with over the years including John Legend, Teedra Moses, Tank, Dwele, The Foreign Exchange, Tamia, Jazmine Sullivan, Ryan Leslie , Melanie Fiona and a host of other talented musicians. We also were honored in giving undiscovered talent an opportunity to shine. Our ride has truly been great and we would like to thank all of our supporters for sticking with us throughout our entire path.
We both hope that we have created a path for others or even inspired any individual that has ever wanted to create projects from their passions and then make it a reality ; and let them know that it is possible with hard work, a cohesive team, and determination.
And do not fret! The site will be up for a while for your viewing pleasure
. Also please feel free to hit us up regarding any music commentary.
With that being said please remember the following……
Music is life. Music is soul, music is uplifting, music is your friend…music is and will always be our mood.
With Sincerity,
Kim and Kimesha

PLEASE don’t take my two month late notice of this posting personally. Because I have definitely been a fan and have appreciated everything that is MMIM since the day I stumbled across it (by commenting and tweeting links on twitter at times).
I’m glad I was able to come through here and see this. And although it is bittersweet news for me, so I can only imagine what it was (has been for you two), I applaud you for what you did with this site. From where it came from to what it evolved into.
Here’s to nothing short of the best, for both of you ladies.
:: Love ::
Jai
