Cover This: It’s Oh So Quiet

Twitter never fails. I came across this video that someone posted on Twitter. It’s Solange covering Bjork’s “It’s Oh So Quiet”. Now I never heard the original song before so I had to pull it up on youtube and give it a listen. Solo is doing her thing as a artist. She has covered songs from different genres like Coldplay and now Bjork. And let’s not forget that she does an amazing job covering these songs. Check out her performance below. Cover This: Heartless

Here are a couple of good covers of Kanye West’s hit single “Heartless” performed by The Fray, which is a Grammy Award- nominated four-piece piano rock band based out of Denver, Colorado and the talented Ms. Melanie Fiona, who is a Canadian singer/ songwriter from Toronto. Both versions are full of intensity and feeling and, in my opinion, they have done an excellent job covering this song. Let MMIM know which you may like better.

Cover This: Viva La Vida

I like Lady GaGa but I’m just not feeling her version of Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida”. I like her own spin she put on the track but I’m just too in love with the original that I can’t give the “Lady” a thumbs up.

But let’s rewind a bit…back to Solange’s cover of “Viva La Vida”. Hers is the best out of the two – in my opinion. She did an awesome job. Solange rocks!

Let us know which one you like better or if you just prefer the original.
