The “Master of the Mix” DC Event Series made its fourth stop at Tabaq Bistro on historic U St. in Washington, DC on Wed, Nov 24th, 2010. The guest DJs were DJ Heat and DJ Trini, with resident DJ Stylus who rocked the party like no other! It was the day before Thanksgiving and quaint red room on the first floor was quickly filling up. The flashing lights were going off, and the Smirnoff cocktails were definitely making their way around the room. Episode 4 of “Master of the Mix” left you with your mouth open as DJ Mars ended up sitting down on the floor during his critique from the judges, as he did not agree with some of their comments. As a result, he was the DJ to leave the show and DJ Rap has another day to compete, along side Rich Medina, DJ Jazzy Joyce, DJ Scratch and Vikter Duplaix.

If you are in the DC area tonight, you are in for a treat. The Fellaz, Divas, MPH and Everyday Lavan will host a charity date auction at Funxion Lounge. For The Love: A Social Mixer and Charity Date Auction will showcase successful single women and men in the DMV who will bid on each other for the chance to win a date. The great thing about this date auction is that all proceeds from the event will be used to purchase food to feed those less fortunate on Thanksgiving Day. The Fellaz, Divas, MPH and Everyday Lavan are working with the Share Food Network to provide food baskets and other holiday essentials for as many families as they can the weekend before the holiday. The event starts at 7pm tonight and there is a cover charge/donation of 10 dollars at the door. Funxion is located at 1309 F Street, NW Washington DC.
If you cannot attend the event, but still want to donate to this cause, please visit www.4thelove.eventbrite.com. My Mood is Music will be in the building so we hope to see you all there!

You can check out a video below of Ray J supporting the “For the Love” Movement with The Fellaz’s own, Mister Kool.
