I haven’t heard from Mya in a while so when I noticed she had a new video I was anxious to check it out. The song is from a mixtape she plans to put out on September 29th and it features Bun B; It’s called “Show Me Something.” I’m feeling the song and the video but I could have gone without the commercial at the end.
Check out this new mixtape premiered on IMEEM entitled “Where the Streets Have No Name”. The producers are K-Salaam and Beatnick and from what I’ve heard, they are going to be a force to be reckoned with. This powerful project consists of Bun B, Lil Wayne, Young Buck, Talib Kweli, K’naan, Colin Munroe {love him on here}, and much more. Let MMIM know if you are feeling this particular mixtape, which will be available for official download tomorrow, July 28th.
Fader Magazine and Levi’s have come together to create a program called The Fort. The Fort features live music performances to merge together music, fashion and art. I must say quite recently the live acts have been on point. Check out the clips below featuring Kanye West, Erykah Badu, Common, Bun B and more. Everyone killed it OMG!
