Dope new track from Rihanna featuring Drake. The track What’s My Name will appear on her upcoming album Loud. This track has a different vibe from her first single Only Girl, so I am interested in hearing what the rest of her album will sound like.
Rick Ross is at it once again with his video for Aston Martin Music. Chrisette Michele and Drake also make an appearance in the video.
This used to be my song on TLC’s “Fanmail” album. The track is titled, “I Get Lonely” and you will find this on Drake’s upcoming R&B mixtape. Listen and below and see if you remember this song.
Check out the new video from Rick Ross, “Aston Martin Music.” The
minute visual includes Chrisette Michele rocking her new ‘do and Drake with a newly added verse.
Last night MTV aired their 2010 Video Music Awards. Overall, the show which was hosted by one of my favorite people who embodies ignorance Chelsea Handler was pretty good. The production was on point and most of the performances were pretty dope. Check out a few below that we at MMIM enjoyed the most and let us know what your favorite VMA moment was.
The video for Drake and Weezy collaboration “Miss Me” was released yesterday. The visual was directed by Anthony Mandler who seems to be the director of choice for today’s hip hop artists. Even though Weezy is away, he still managed to have some visuals (that we’re pre-recorded) in the video. Enjoy!

Weezy released a new single yesterday that features Drake. The song is called “Right Above It” and will be on Wayne’s upcoming EP, I’m Not A Human Being that will be released on 9/27.
Drake looks like a pretty cool dude ono the latest issue of Paper Magazine. Within the interview the rapper discusses overexposure, why he does not dwell on the world wide web too much, and how he wants to return to acting.
He even touches on how he is aware that his music draws in his fans and not his sex appeal.
“People always have something to say about the way I look or the way I dress. People nitpick at my physical appearance more than my music, which is fine with me because when I look in the mirror, I know I’m not an unattractive person.”
This is Drake’s version for “Aston Martin Music”. His verse was initally supposed to be on the track but it didn’t make it. So here is his verse plus additional unreleased verses. Check out “Paris Morton Music” below and let us know what you think.
I can’t remember when I began to watch the BET awards, but out of the many years, this was the best show yet! BET really outdid themselves this year, bringing the viewing audience amazing performances and tributes. Mr. West opened the show with his most talked about single, “Power.” Of course the crowd went crazy; this was Yeezy first award show since the MTV awards incident. There were other memorable performances (some good and some not so good.) B.o.B surprised us and brought out Eminem for the remix of his single, “Airplanes.” He also tried to convince us that Keyshia Cole would do better on the hook than Hayley Williams; I did not become a believer.
Chris Brown did one of the greatest tributes to his mentor, Michael Jackson. When “The Way You Make Me Feel” started to play and the curtains revealed CB, the most highest anticipation had set in. If anyone could do a MJ tribute, there was no question it would be Chris Brown. He could not get through “Man in the Mirror” without breaking down and his emotions were felt throughout the room, including mine! Very emotional tribute and Chris deserved the standing ovation he received from the audience.
Other performances included El Debarge, Tyrese, Diddy w/Dirty Money, Rick Ross, Jeezy, Drake, Kirk Franklin, Marvin Saap, Trey Songz, Monica, Deniece Williams, Usher, Ludacris, J Cole and much more.
Prince received the Lifetime Achievement Award with a tribute by Janelle Monae, Ezperanda Spalding, Alicia Keys and Patti LaBelle.
