This is unreleased material that was supposed to be on Jazmine’s debut album, Fearless. The song is called “Jumpoff” let us know what you think.
Check out the live footage of Jazmine Sullivan taking on France with her beautiful voice. She covered Kiss From A Rose and performed her hit Bust Your Windows. Let MMIM know what you think.
Jazmine is just consistently throwing out great music videos. Here is “I’m In Love With Another Man”. Great video!
I was hoping that this was Jazmine’s next single. I’m glad she decided on this uptempo track. I love it. The video is much like her last (also directed by Syndrome). Its very colorful and Jazmine looks great!
Quick Hit interviews an MMIM fave, Ms. Jazmine Sullivan. Jaz talks about her influences and her favorite song on her ipod. Surprisingly its one of the most played songs on my ipod too. She even said that she plans to cover the song soon. Click on the video to see what song I’m talking about and what artist she would like to have dinner with.
Finally the video for this song. Jazmine looks gorgeous and the song goes so well with the video. I love the colors, the instruments, and the “yellow brick road”. Beautifully done.
The video will premiere this Thursday but here is a sneak peak of Jazmine Sullivan “Lions, Tigers & Bears.” Very pretty from what I see so far.
I don’t know how I missed this performance from an MMIM favorite (thank God for the internet). Everytime this girl performs she brings it. Love this chick!
This is for anyone, like myself, who missed it.
This edition of “Cover This” (formely Original vs. Remake) is “Resentment.” I came across these versions while browsing through Imeem so I am unsure of who recorded it first but Beyonce made it an hit. It is a song on her sophomore project “B’Day”. Jazmine and Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) both covered this song. Out of the three, I’m going with Jazmine. Her voice just has so much soul, she makes you feel her pain. Not too bad for Victoria, I actually never heard her sing until now. But these three women have different voices and they all made the song their own.
Let us know what you think.

I’m glad to see these three are coming together for one great show. Jazmine is a busy woman, just finishing up her tour with Maxwell. And Ne-Yo and Musiq have just released projects late last year. Here are two tracks that didn’t make Ms. Sullivan’s debut album Fearless. Not really feeling A Life Without Love, but I’m loving My Little Black Book.

This week its Jazmine Sullivan vs. Christina Millan. Most of you don’t know but Jazmine was the orginator of this song. She wrote the song for Christina Millan. Call it bias but, I love me a live performance so I am going with Jaz. Let us know what you think.

I’m calling this “Part 2″ because Raheem DeVaughn went up against Andre 3000 a few weeks ago in this feature. This week its Miss Jazmine Sullivan doing her version of Prototype. Her version is very nice but my vote will go to Andre 3000. This song is smooth and Jazmine voice is so powerful, it takes the “mello-ness” out of it. Still a great cover, but since I have a choice, I choose the original.
