Fashion Rocks 2008

This year’s Fashion Rock’s definitely did just that!! It ROCKED!! With a historical music inspired theme each performance was well put together from Rihanna opening the show singing Vogue, Beyonce performing as Etta James with At Last, Chris Brown singing Sam Cooke and Justin Timberlake killing it with his remake of the Marvin Gaye tune. We must not also forget the Timbaland collaboration with One Republic and the Pussycat Dolls. Solange also did a pretty good job performing her single I Decided. All in all I would have to say that this show was a success and the closing performance for the show with the Stand Up for Cancer tribute was simply amazing. It was like a 2008 version of We Are the World. All twelve ladies sounded amazing and they were singing for a notable and worthy cause.

Justin Timberlake Covers Fashion Rock Magazine

JT will cover this year’s Fashion Rocks magazine. NY Magazine has reported that in this issue Timberlake will discuss his upcoming clothing line entitled William Rast.

Andre 3000 will also reveal clothing from his upcoming line Benjamin Bixy. Fashion and music are such a great combo! I cannot wait until this magazine comes out!!

Fashion Rocks Announces Line Up

This Year’s Fashion Rocks Awards is sure to be a treat. The concert will be held on September 5th at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall and it will air on CBS on September 9th.

Some of the stars from the line up are pictured below. This is a concert that you do not want to miss, especially when proceeds from this event are going to ‘Stand Up To Cancer.”
