Nice holiday song from Kanye West, Teyana Taylor and CyHi Da Prynce to put you in the Christmas spirit. Teyana’s voice sounds wonderful on this hook. This is an unfinished track though; the final version will also feature Cam’ron, Vado, Jim Jones, Pusha T, Big Sean, and Musiq Soulchild. I can just hear Teyana Taylor and Musiq’s voice harmonizing right now. Sounds like pure bliss…
Check out “Christmas in Harlem” and let us know what you think.
Check out the sneak preview for Kanye West’s music video, Monster. The clip shows Rick Ross, Kanye, Hov and Nicki in a spooky and gruesome house surrounded with dead bodies. I can’t wait to see the video in its entirety; looks like its going to be a dope visual.
Despite suffering album leaks Kanye West and Nicki Minaj did significant numbers for the release of their albums. According to Hits Daily Double Kanye landed in the number one spot selling 518,775 and Nicki was right behind him with 371,049. They both beat some heavy names including Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Susan Boyle.
I’m glad I watched this interview because they asked Kanye exactly what I wanted to know after watching his short film, “Runaway.” In this clip, Kanye talks about his inspiration for the video and he even goes into details about the colors and decor in the film. I love the way this man thinks! Oh, they also asked him about his relationship with Kim Kardashian but who cares, I love hearing about his creativity.
This video is from Mr. Husdon debut album, “Straight No Chaser”. The album didn’t receive much accolades but it was pretty good. Check out the video for “Anyone But Him.”
Kanye performed this morning at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. “Lost in the World” was his musical choice for the audience. Check it out and let us know what you think.
Before Kanye said no to anymore interviews, Noah Callahan-Bever of Complex magazine did a very personal interview with the star while he lived in Hawaii. He lived with Kanye, including spending time with him in the studio while creating his current album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The interview gives insight on the type of artist Kanye is and how hard he works. There are also quotes from the artist that were featured on the album and how working with Kanye was for them.
Here is a portion of the interview below:
“Kanye West was over it, he said. Done with music. He’d clearly needed a break, and his subconscious had manufactured one. Now, he was all about fashion—red leather, gold details, and recapturing the decadence of late-’90s hip-hop in design. While I encouraged his pursuit since he was so obviously enthused, I confessed that it’d be a bummer if he abandoned music altogether. In response, he shared rhymes from a still-never-released song he’d done with Jay-Z and Jack White and talked at length about trying to master the physicality of rap. He also admitted that he had beats in his head—ones that sounded like 808s melodies over Mobb Deep drums, no less—that he had to get out. But he was over it. Riiiiiiiight.
“That’s My Bitch” is a track from Kanye West and Jay-Z that will be on their rumored collabo album. Q-Tip is the producer on this one; not sure how I feel about it just yet. Meet me in the comments section to discuss…
Okay of course we have all heard about the Kanye West Today Show interview and how he went off, so due to a loyal fan request we have decided to display it on the site for those that may not have seen it.
Kanye stopped by the “TODAY” show this morning for an interview to promote his album but according to his tweets, it wasn’t so pleasant. He went to Twitter to vent his frustrations…
I went up there to express how I was empathetic to Bush because I labeled him a racist and years later I got labeled as a racist….
While I was trying to give the interview they started playing the “MTV” under me with audio!!!!!!!
I don’t mess with Matt Lauer or the Today Show … and that’s a very nice way for me to put it!
HE TRIED TO FORCE MY ANSWERS. IT WAS VERY BRUTAL AND I CAME THERE WITH ONLY POSITIVE INTENT.
I feel very alone very used very tortured very forced very misunderstood very hollow very very misused.
I don’t trust anyone but myself! Everyone has an agenda. I don’t do press anymore. I can’t be everything to everybody anymore.

Here is another G.O.O.D. Friday release with Pusha T, Cyhi the Prynce, J Cole and Big Sean. The track is titled “Looking for Trouble” and the track goes pretty hard especially J Cole’s verse.
TI releases the cover for his newly titled album, “No Mercy.” TI’s 7th studio album will feature appearances by Kanye West, Eminem, Chris Brown, The-Dream, and Christina Aguilera. The project will be released on December 7th.
Kanye West has an all star cast for his third single “All of The Lights” from his upcoming album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The track features, Rihanna, Elton John, Charlie Wilson, Alicia Keys, The-Dream, Ryan Leslie, Tony Williams, Fergie, La Roux’s Elly Jackson, John Legend, and Kid Cudi. Check it out and let us know what you think.
Kanye West is never afraid to push the envelope and he has done just that once again with his short film for Runaway. Regardless, if you like the video or not one can’t help but realize that this video is artistic, visually pleasing, and it embodies symbolism of current issues within our society today. I also thought it was pure genius how he used songs from his upcoming album all throughout the short film to entice people even more to purchase his next project.
In this brief interview, Kanye West chats with MTV on how there are a lot of simiarities between his upcoming short film Runaway and his video Flashing Lights. Within the interview Mr. West states:
“I think there’s a lot of similarity in this and Flashing Lights. Flashing Lights is my favorite piece of work that I’ve done. The pacing, people are always like, ‘Where is the rest of it?’ But we didn’t have the time or whatever or the money to do the rest of it. But I might do the rest of it, the beginning and the end. Two years from now, I might give you the whole ‘Flashing Lights’ video, put ‘I Wonder’ in it, ‘Say You Will’ and songs that I feel like doing.”
For those of you that are as anxious to see his upcoming short film for Runaway as I am, it will be premiering on Saturday at 8p.m. on MTV, MTV2 and BET, and will also stream live on MTV.com, BET.com and VH1.com. Following the premiere Kanye will do a live Q&A session on MTV and MTV.com. This man really knows how to create buzz!
