Kid Cudi graces the cover of the lastest Complex Magazine where he discusses how he does not like being compared to other rappers, what you can expect to hear on his upcoming album, and his past issues with drugs.
Cudi on why he stated in “Mojo So Dope,” that he “live through words, not metaphors:
I didn’t want anybody to take it the wrong way, because it wasn’t a dis.But most of the rappers that everyone loves are rappers that use metaphors. That’s not my style of rap. I like to rhyme in a more poetic way. Sometimes you don’t have to use these…witty ways of trying. It just sounds like somebody is overselling shit.

LISTEN TO ERASE ME BY KID CUDI FT KANYE WEST Kanye and Kid Cudi Both Slated for September 14th Release?
No official word as of yet but Andre Harell tweeted this past weekend while he visited Kanye to hear the new album. Kid Cudi is also scheduled to release his album, that same day.
It’s still early and of course we all know that album release dates change at anytime. I’m looking forward to both releases, especially Kanye’s. Let us know what you think.
