Three of my favorite artists all on one track. Janelle Monae recruits B.o.B. and Lupe Fiasco for her remix to Tightrope. In this black and white video, Janelle show off her dancing skills as usual and even B.o.B. and Lupe join in to “tightrope”. Check it out and let us know what you think.

Janelle Monae teams up with B.o.B. and Lupe Fiasco for the remix to her single, “Tightrope.” Janelle also spits a verse on this track. Great remix to a already dope song. Check it out and let us know what you think.
Love this new video from Lupe Fiasco titled, I’m Beamin. This is the first single from his next album, Lasers. Check it out and let us know what you think.
I’m in love with the beat that was produced by The Neptunes but not really in love with the song overall. This is Lupe Fiasco ft Alicia Keys and the song is titled, “Love Letter to the Beat.”
“Past my Shades” is a track from from B.o.B’s debut album, The Adventures of Bobby Ray that features Lupe Fiasco. We hear that this is not the final version but I am loving Lupe’s verse.
Lupe Fiasco recently did an interview with Australian publication, The Age. Within the interview he makes it clear that he is a rare type of rapper valuing substance over glitz and glam. This I am sure is why all his fans truly appreciate his craft because when he raps he addresses real issues unlike most rappers.
Lupe states that, ”I don’t want to be Jay-Z and be worth $400 million and perform on every awards show. It’s getting in touch with somebody who needs to improve their self-esteem. As opposed to driving a Bentley and putting some chains on.”

Check out this video which from David Guetta and Kid Cudi entitled Memories. This song was inspired by upcoming series “How To Make it in America”, which premieres this Sunday on HBO at 10pm.
In addition to the video above a mixtape was also created for this series. Click the image below to download the mixtape which has appearances by Lupe Fiasco, Jadakiss, Nipsey Hussle, Kid Cudi, and a host of other artists. Judging by the previews that I have seen thus far, this show may be similar to Entourage, which means I am uber excited about seeing the first episode.
This week’s throwback is brought to you by one of our favorite artists, Lupe Fiasco with his hit single “I Gotcha” from his debut studio album Food & Liquor released back in 2006. This is still a banger in my collection and yeah Kim, it is still your ring tone…LoL. This album definitely was a success for Mr. Fiasco and I look forward to hearing his upcoming projects. Share any memories you may have when hearing this song.
Lupe has a new track titled, “I’m Beaming” that leaked on the internet which will be on his upcoming project. I love the production on this song and of course, it was produced by none of other than Pharell. Check it out and let us know what you think.
Check out part 2 of Lupe Fiasco’s interview with Jessie Maguire. Lupe discusses working with People Speak, when fans can expect a first single and album, and his touring plans for 2010.
Check out part 1 of the Lupe Fiasco interview with Jessie Maguire where he discusses how he came up with the title of his mixtape, being an underdog in the world of hip hop, his latest single Solar Midnight and much more.
