Check out the new video for Maroon 5′s second single Give A Little More from their upcoming album Hands All Over, which is slated to be released on September 21st. This band never disappoints in my opinion so I am looking forward to their upcoming release.
For our fifth category we want YOU ALL to let us know which artist makes you want to pretend to be a rock star and nose dive into a crowd of people. Well maybe not go that far, but which artist makes you move whenever you hear their music. Once again to pick your winner you must select your choice in the poll application below. The nominees are as follows for Who Rocks and Rolls:
A while back MMIM posted some information about Maroon 5′s upcoming LP entitled Call & Response that would feature mash-ups with certain hip hop artists. Well the first track has been released and I am not surprised that it’s the group’s hit If I Never See Your Face Again featuring Swizz Beatz. I am not too fond of this track I must say. I feel like the ol skool beat takes away from the essence of the song and I am hoping that the rest of the album does not disappoint. Let MMIM know what you think.
Apparently rappers and rock stars enjoy doing mash ups. We all remember how in 2004 Jay-Z and Linkin Park teamed up to bring us Collision Course. I personally thought this album was brilliant because its giving us music fans the best of both worlds. Billboard.com has reported that Maroon 5 has also decided to pick up the mash-up concept and they are working with Pharell and David Banner on a remix album. The album will be entitled Call & Response and its slated to hit stores on December 9th.
Check out the album cover and track list below. Maroon 5 already delivers solid music,so I am looking forward to seeing what colloborations with Just Blaze, Swizz Beatz and The Roots will bring to the table musically. Let MMIM know what you think.
