Here it is – the title track for the upcoming documentary “This Is It.” This is a unreleased song that was recorded back in 1991 and it features MJ brothers doing background vocals. “This Is It” is only in theaters for 2 weeks beginning October 28th. I hope you have your tickets (I know I do).

The pied piper has said that he plans to complete five songs that he was working on with Michael Jackson prior to his death. R.Kelly told Black Voices “we’re going to get it out,” and that “Michael liked the way he would try to sing the songs just like him.”

TMZ has reported that Janet Jackson has been working diligently to prepare a tribute to her late and great brother Michael Jackson at the MTV Video Awards. The source has stated that the performance will include 20 back up dancers with a routine that was choreographed by Frank Gatson and Travis Payne. Sounds like we are in store for an amazing show and who better to pay tribute to the King of Pop than Janet Jackson.

Q-Tip is planning a birthday bash for the late and great King of Pop on August 29th at the Nokia Theatre Times Square in NYC. Special invited guests include Mark Ronson and DJ Spinna, but I am sure there will be many other star studded appearances.
Tickets for this event are $25 and go on sale Friday, July 31st and can be purchased via Ticketmaster.com.
According to Billboard.com Janet Jackson and her brothers are planning to do a tribute tour in honor of their brother, Michael. The tour will be called “Michael Jackson Tribute Tour: Janet Jackson And Brothers.”
“Janet would headline the tour and her brothers would open the concerts.The proposed tour would either feature the Jacksons performing their brother’s songs on a tour of North American or fulfilling some of Michael’s sold-out London shows.”
