There needs to be an ode to Summer I swear when it comes to crazy concerts!!! Performers for the 2009 Lollapalooza Festival have been announced for this year’s concert, which will be held Aug 7th-9th in Chicago at Grant Park. This year some of the headliners will include Jane’s Addiction, Beastie Boys, The Killers, Snoop Dogg, Santogold and Kid Cudi just to give you a taste of the hotness that will be at this event.
Here is a special treat for all of you hip hop lovers. The Roots will be hosting their 2nd Annual Roots Picnic in Philly again this year. In addition to The Roots, there will be performances by TV on the Radio, Black Keys, Santogold, Kid Cudi, Asher Roth, Public Enemy and many more artists. This sounds like an event you do not want to miss. The event will be taking place on Saturday June 6th @ 2pm at The Festival Pier, Penns Landing.

Okay I think Santogold is starting to grow on me. I just never got the hype everyone was giving her. But I like this video/song…this is “Lights Out.” Santogold is currently touring with Coldplay.
