Faith is making a return and the first single features Snoop Dogg. “Way You Move” has a nice vibe just in time for the summer. Her new album “Something About Faith” has a scheduled release date of September 14th.

There needs to be an ode to Summer I swear when it comes to crazy concerts!!! Performers for the 2009 Lollapalooza Festival have been announced for this year’s concert, which will be held Aug 7th-9th in Chicago at Grant Park. This year some of the headliners will include Jane’s Addiction, Beastie Boys, The Killers, Snoop Dogg, Santogold and Kid Cudi just to give you a taste of the hotness that will be at this event.
Snoop Dogg will be releasing a new album this September entitled Malice in Wonderland. The album will distributed, marketed and promoted with MTV. This should be quite interesting, as I have never heard of a major television station releasing a rapper’s album. The album is slated to have appearances by Pharell and Dr. Dre to name a few. Apparently, Hip Hop can be used to inspire “change we can believe in.” “Vote for It in 08″ and the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network, along with online marketing company CPX have come together to encourgae youth to go out and vote. This is an excellent opportunity for celebritites to use their star power in a postiive light, since so many individuals look up to them. First Jay, then Mary now Snoop…he is next in line to have his own VH1 Storytellers Special. The live concert will be in front of a small intimate audience as Snoop tells a story to introduce each song or any memories he may have about it. Snoop will perform songs from his new album “Ego Trippin,’” as well as some old favorites. Special guests to perform are Doug E. Fresh, Charlie Wilson, Too Short and Mistah FAB.
