Check out the video for the latest collabo from DJ Khaled entitled All I Do is Win. The song features T-Pain, Ludacris, Rick Ross, and Snoop Dogg, so you already know this track is crazy.
I see T-Pain puts auto-tune to rest as he goes back to rapping on this track “Dope” which was leaked off of his upcoming album “RevolveR.” Former DTP member, Shawnna is featured on this song and is the newest member of the Nappy Boy familia. I must be late on hearing about that one, but it may be a good move for her…let MMIM know if you are feeling “Dope.”
I’m a fan of Lil’Kim but I’m not feelin’ this one at all. The video features, T-Pain and Charlie Wilson. Always check out a cameo from LisaRaye. And what is the purpose of a child in this video?
For all you John Legend fans, we are pleased to share that he will performing a long with T-Pain this Sunday for the Super Bowl XLIII pregame show that will be airing on NBC. He will performing Green Light from his latest album Evolver. I am interested to see how including T-Pain in the mix versus Andre 3000 plays out for this song. May the best team win on Sunday as the Cardinals and Steelers go head to head in Tampa, Florida.
Yeah I know a lot of other artists have used autotune in the past, but T-Pain has made it famous and an essential tool in Hip Hop these days. For those of you who always wondered what your voice would sound like in autotune, your dream will become a reality.
Antares, the maker of the Auto-Tune EFX plug-in, is about to make this software available to everyone. The company release a statement yesterday regarding their product saying it was…
“made wildly popular by T-Pain, Kanye West, Cher, and many other artists in virtually every genre of popular music…Both T-Pain and Kanye West have released new albums on which they make extensive use of the Auto-Tune Vocal Effect and brought even more media attention to it. As a result, we’re extremely pleased to expand the distribution of Auto-Tune EFX to our entire dealer base, making it possible for musicians around the world to have an affordable, easy-to-use tool for basic pitch correction and the Auto-Tune Vocal Effect.”
Just when we thought it was going to be laid to rest soon.
You can purchase your Auto-tune plugin for $129.00.
Blame it on the remix – no pun intended. But these days I guess a track just isn’t complete if it could not be re-released without adding an additional artist to the mix. Check out the remix for Jamie Foxx’s Blame It track featuring Yung Joc and T-Pain from his latest album Intuition. Although I am not a fan of Jamie using auto tune, this song does make me want to bust a move. Let MMIM know what you think.

Jamie Foxx FT Yung Joc & T-pain – Blame It Remix
Vibe recently released their choices for hottest songs of 2008. Is it me or am I noticing a trend of the same three artists throughout the majority of this list? Where is Janelle Monae, M.I.A, and Solange? I am also surprised to see that T.I. and Rihanna did not make the list as well.
Check out the list below and let us know if you agree or disagree.
I already love the original version but this remix is just as good. JT also took a stab the autotune. Nice track.

I Can’t Believe It – T-Pain ft Justin Timberlake
Yesterday evening I had the pleasure of making my contribution to” change that we all can believe in”, as well as change that is oh so needed in this unstable environment that has affected us all in some way.
As a volunteer for the Respect My Vote campaign at the TI and T-Pain concert I must say that it was so pleasing to be apart of something that was helping to get Barack Obama in office. Currently, the Hip Hop Caucus which founded this campaign is on a tour to stress to all of the youth that they encouraged to register to vote early on to actually make a difference and go to the polls on November 4th. As volunteers we were responsible for encouraging people to go to the polls, while we also signed up people that wanted to receive more information about the Hip Hop Caucus Organization.
Now folks my description of this experience would not be complete if I did not tell you about the actual concert. Surprisingly the concert was not even close to being sold out and I must say T-Pain had the crowd moving since he pretty much has a hook on every hot song that is out right now. This man has also mastered the whole circus theme because he knows how to put on a performance from his crazy dance moves and constant chants of Nappy Boy Records…. needless to say I was pleased.
After an intermission that seemed like forever TI graced the stage, but his opening act could have been a lot better. His song of choice was not my favorite but he soon regained my interest when he performed hits like 24′s, She’s A Freak Though, Whatchu Know About That, and many more. TI did not require much for his stage set either with the exception of an entourage of random people in the background, which I was surprised by since he was the headliner for this event. TI closed the show removing his shirt (insert sigh here) and performing Whatever You Like..my highlight of his performance.
All in all the show was just okay, but I must say I earned even more respect for the Hip Hop Caucus and what this organization stands for. I also learned that Respect My Vote is more than a voter registration initiative, but rather a movement that will continue even after the potential presidential nominee has been elected. It’s about making sure that your vote your counts and working together with your community to make a difference and not just sit and complain when your voice is not heard. Shout out to my lil sis for giving me this opportunity and please remember people to make it to the polls on November 4th.
“Chopped and Screwed” is T-Pain’s second single off his upcoming album “Thr33 Rings” featuring Ludacris. I must admit, I was never a T-Pain fan, but he is making me a believer this time around.
