For all of our true fans of The Roots, this is sure to be a treat! This week’s throwback is brought to you by their trilogy video, premiered three years ago, which consists of a medley of three songs “In the Music”, “Here I Come”, and “Don’t Feel Right” from their album “Game Theory”. There is a lot of consciousness in this video to make us aware of what we go through in society, even to this day. “Game Theory” was one of my favorites by The Roots for it helped open my eyes to a lot learn about myself and my culture; I loved how they honored the late great J Dilla throughout the album, for it was the year of his untimely death.
