The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards took place last night and even though there weren’t many awards given out, some of your favorite artists gave some great performances. I think Cee-Lo gave the best and most creative performance of the night. Not only did he have muppets as background singers but he introduced the Grammys to Gwyneth Paltrow – the singer.
This year Rihanna opened up the American Music Awards. She rocked the crowd as she performed songs from her current album, LOUD. She started with “Love the Way You Lie pt.2″ and followed up with “What’s My Name” and “Only Girl in the World.” She even threw in some dance moves for us.

Sexy new club banger from Usher featuring Pitbull for DJ Got Us Falling In Love Again. This song is a new sound for Mr.Raymond I must say. I would prefer that he returns to his Confessions album roots.
This new track from Usher “Stroke Your Ego” has been all over the internet lately. Not sure where the song will appear but it will not be on his re-release “Versus” due out next week.
“Hot Toddy” is a Polow Da Don produced track that will appear on Usher’s upcoming project, “Versus”. The track features Jay-Z and Ester Dean. I’m definetly feeling this one…let us know what you think.

Not to sure why this is necessary, but hey who the hell am I right? Usher has felt the need to re-release Raymond V. Raymond with an additional disc filled with eight tracks. There is finally a visual for my favorite track off of Raymond vs. Raymond. Great video, directed by Anthony Mandler for Usher’s “There Goes My Baby”. Enjoy!
I can’t remember when I began to watch the BET awards, but out of the many years, this was the best show yet! BET really outdid themselves this year, bringing the viewing audience amazing performances and tributes. Mr. West opened the show with his most talked about single, “Power.” Of course the crowd went crazy; this was Yeezy first award show since the MTV awards incident. There were other memorable performances (some good and some not so good.) B.o.B surprised us and brought out Eminem for the remix of his single, “Airplanes.” He also tried to convince us that Keyshia Cole would do better on the hook than Hayley Williams; I did not become a believer.
Chris Brown did one of the greatest tributes to his mentor, Michael Jackson. When “The Way You Make Me Feel” started to play and the curtains revealed CB, the most highest anticipation had set in. If anyone could do a MJ tribute, there was no question it would be Chris Brown. He could not get through “Man in the Mirror” without breaking down and his emotions were felt throughout the room, including mine! Very emotional tribute and Chris deserved the standing ovation he received from the audience.
Other performances included El Debarge, Tyrese, Diddy w/Dirty Money, Rick Ross, Jeezy, Drake, Kirk Franklin, Marvin Saap, Trey Songz, Monica, Deniece Williams, Usher, Ludacris, J Cole and much more.
Prince received the Lifetime Achievement Award with a tribute by Janelle Monae, Ezperanda Spalding, Alicia Keys and Patti LaBelle.
Beiber Fever!! Check out the latest video from Justin Bieber and Usher entitled Somebody to Love. This video has crazy energy, so the tweens will enjoy.
Usher performed his current single There Goes My Baby on George Lopez last night. He sounds and looks amazing. So glad to see that this album is doing much better than Here I Stand.
Usher had the opportunity to perform his new single, “OMG” on Oprah today. The crowd went crazy as he performed this dance hit and Will.i.am even came out and surprised the audience. I loved the performance, what do you think?
